Designed to offer communication without force, this bit can be used with a traditional headstall/cavesson, or add the curg to use it completely bridleless, making it ideal for sensitive horses, and helping to prevent tooth damage.

HOW TO USE

• Measure your horse's bit size with a wooden dowel rod
• Select whether you'd like a rounded, flat, or rounded + curb setup
• Use as a normal bit
• The bridleless curb option should never be tightened so much as to press into the tongue

CARE

For best longevity of the product:

• Wipe dry after use
• Treat with a horse-safe natural oil (olive, flaxseed, etc.) on a regular basis
• Do not use traditional leather tack cleaning products as these can be toxic if ingested by the horse
  
• Leather may mold if introduced to humidity. Check for molding before use.

• Not all horses are immediately suited for a bridleless bit—training level matters

• Leather bits may not be suitable for heavy chewers

• Never leave a horse unattended with a leather bit

• Bit longevity depends on care, use, and the individual horse

• When the curb option is selected to use bridleless, the bit should be adjusted such that it is possible for the horse to spit the bit out. It should be used on horses who have already accepted a bit, and is not recommended as a first bit for horses.
